Oh, how i luuuuurve unoriginal titles :iconimhappyplz:

Anyways... Tis for the dark themes contest by :iconbijutsu-no-himesama: (Colour Me Indidgo)

i have no idea how long it took me to finish this pic... i'm pretty sure it's more than 6 hours *diez* But i think it's one of the best pics in my not-very-impressive gallery so far. All done with the mouse - i think my fingers are now tragically paralyzed ]: And still there are more than lotsa flaws in the pic (e.g. the undersized forehead and the ugly goblet), yay me ._.

Anyways, i tried to interpret this pic in words but it sounded horribly awkward, so i'd leave it to you to interpret it however you want... i'd put it in the surreal category, but the pic doesn't really look surreal ]:[

Yay for the random finger balancing the golden scythe on its tip, wheee :dance:

As for constructive critique/comments... BRING IT ON!!!one!! No holding back! >:U Unless if you're too lazy D:>

(lol, i do check this account now and then for entries, so it'd be alright to note here =p)

waaaii, SO cool! i love all the tiny details, like in her hands and the goblet (which i don't think is ugly~), and the folds of her dress are done perfectly :D i think my favourite part is the water dripping into the goblet... holy CRAP is that so awesome!! :glomp:

i used a lot of the smudge tool to do the goblet - One of the reasons i think it's ugly :lol:

I really like the shading on the folds of her cloth. but I think the real goodness of this piece is in the waterdrop!

I'm really liking the purple, especially the drippy quality on the ceiling. You did an excellent job on her dress - there's a tiny part on the hanging sleeve that bothers me it's almost too strong of a blue, but you dont notice it unless you're staring at the larger image.. and I've opened it up a couple times while writing this.

Hair is lovely, wish you would have continued with the purple shadows a little more in a couple places (along left side of the face and in it's length in particular,)

The hand... I'm up in the air on it. It's almost twisted the wrong way- but she's doing magic, so it's not noticeable- but then there are to many highlights- but then she's doing magic and has that nifty glow quality-

I also want to continue your shadow just a TINY, eeensy bit in the goblets inside...

Oh also; fav'd.

Too awesome a comment to be left in the forums :lol: *thwacked*
